American Express Warranty
I had a client recently who had a Dell laptop that was a year and 3 months old. Her son had accidentally stepped on it and broke the screen. When she purchased the laptop, she used her AMEX card but only bought a one year warranty (which is almost always recommended by me). She was all set to throw it out because to get a new LCD and install it would have probably cost more than a new laptop. Instead, I had her call AMEX and ask about if this was covered by any additional warranty service, and it was! AMEX told her to get it repaired and they would reimburse her the cost!
